ABOUT

OUR MISSION

Phi Delta Theta was built on three pillars that haven’t budged since the Fraternity was founded back in 1848 at Miami University. The three pillars are the cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality. Shortened, we refer to the principles of friendship, sound learning, and rectitude.

Helping every individual to meet his true potential is the bedrock of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. By celebrating each person’s true self and by learning from each other’s strengths while helping to improve each other’s weaknesses, every member of Phi Delta Theta develops into a greater version of himself than he could ever have on his own. Rather than try to find young men to “mold” into some ideal, we celebrate the uniqueness of each individual and, through encouragement, values, example, and brotherhood, empower every brother to exceed his personal expectations.

VALLEY OF THE SUN ALUMNI CLUB

Phoenix, Arizona, is known as one of the top vacation destinations in the country, so it is no surprise that the Valley of the Sun is a draw for people from all over the Nation.  Over the last couple of decades, we discovered thousands of Phi's currently residing in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. The Valley of the Sun Alumni club was established in 1987 and designed to
connect Phi's from all over the country of all ages.  We hold regular monthly breakfast sessions; social hour interactions, and Founders Day activities.  Additionally, we stay engaged with local Chapters and offer assistance to active members as well as newly formed alumni.

Membership is open to all initiated alumni of the Phi Delta Theta society. We have Phi Delta Theta Alumni from the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University. Yet, two-thirds of those attending events are made up of Phi Delts from various colleges around the nation. We are proud to represent all age groups, from those that have just graduated, to those beginning families/careers and retirees. Our club is a great way to connect with old friends and meet new ones!
